Democrats Abroad Hong Kong is extraordinarily excited to invite you to meet former Vermont Governor Howard Dean, who served as chairman of the Democratic National Committee from 2005-9.  Governor Dean will be in town next week and, as a former Presidential candidate, has kindly offered to speak to us about this year's Presidential race.  He has also expressed an interest in meeting you, because you're a Democrat.  (Seriously.)

Governor Dean will be speaking to us and shaking hands at the bar we hold our monthly happy hours at: Tipping Point Brewing Company, 79 Wyndham Street in Central, between Lan Kwai Fong and Soho.  The event will run from 7-8 PM on Thursday, January 21.  There will be a cash bar, and Tipping Point is providing finger foods for us and extending its happy hour until 8 PM for us, as well.

We are not charging admission for the event, but would like to remind everyone that we suggest people donate HK$300/year to the organization.  We will happily accept donations at Tipping Point on the evening.
